A week of mild temperatures has let the vines do what they want to do at this time of year- ripen grapes and produce sugar.
Building on last weekends readings, we’ve seen a jump of a full 2 Baume’ in the week. From 9.1 Be on 9th of Feb, to 11.1 Be today.
We can now be pretty sure that picking will be starting in earnest for first deliveries on Friday 1st March and continue on for 3 weeks. 

So get ready.

If you haven’t already done so, it’s time to bottle last years wine, check and clean equipment, organise the winemaking team and be ready to go.
