Bronze, bronze and bronze, aiming for gold

Hi Brian, It's Gary SCHIPPER here (Gold at Frankston 2010 Barrel sample) just to let you know we have picked up 2 bronzes with the finished wine at the Eltham show (latest 2011 bronze) and 1 at Frankston, (should have been 2, but that's another story, initial marking showed a bronze then reassessed).
To be honest I didn't do the barrel sample justice as a finished wine as I was a but lax in some procedures, this year I will lift my game, I am shifting to variable capacity tank with a mix of American and French Oak treatment. I am going to McLaren Vale for holidays March 5. I hope that the grapes will be ready before then ( If the BIG MAN approves)( Bacchus, here that ?) Can you let me know which will be the best grapes for vinification of the three clones and possible picking times so that I may be able to organise myself better so as to lift the quality of my wine and in turn, the status of Shiraz Republic. I have pre-ordered 350 kg already.
