Budburst is upon us. Walking through the vineyard there is a soft green tinge to the cordons. Still too small to show up in a normal photo, a close up reveals the opening possibilities.
The season is just beginning, but the long range forecasts are better. There is a weak la Nina event predicted, but the chances are for Victoria there is a chance that it will be a little dryer than average. Average is of course pretty good for us, as apart from last year, we had been well below average; drought. Budburst has commenced, and we are ever hopeful of a good year.
