Car Club, “Boys Toys”, having a great day out at the vineyard.
With the next few posts, we’re catching up on some of the action that happened over the busyness of harvest, or as we say – three months of ‘Organised Chaos’.
On the 25th of March, we had a massive day with our Rent-A-Row winemakers making some 15+ batches of Shiraz for over 50 of our citizens. Joining in the excitement were local car club Boys Toys and we were lucky to get some great photos from their photographer Andrew Follows, of Blinkie Photography. These guys and girls had great drive up from Melbourne and decked themselves out in our picnic areas outside the vineyard, enjoying a gourmet sausage sizzle, shiraz wines and craft beer.
We’ve always been amazed by the great scenery surrounding our cellar door, from our 25-acre vineyard through to our farm relics. The old scenery of our Sunshine Harvesters, Bill’s Shed, remnants from the old Cornella Post Office, was a fantastic backdrop for the clubs’ classic cars. But don’t take our word for it, browse the photos below.
